Welcome to Jf_Surftechniques! By booking and participating in our surf coaching and/or surf skating services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions.

1. General Information

Jf_Surftechniques provides high-quality surf coaching and surf skating lessons. We are dedicated to helping you improve your skills in a safe and enjoyable environment.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: To book a session, please contact Jf_Surftechniques directly via email, whatsApp, or our website contact form. You will be provided with available dates and times.

  • Payment Methods: Payment can be made via PayPal, bank transfer, or cash at the time of the session.

  • Session Confirmation: Your session is confirmed once the booking is agreed upon and payment has been made or arranged.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • Client Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session may result in a cancellation fee, which is typically 50% of the session price.

  • Our Cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule your session due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your scheduled session, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time, and no reduction in price will be provided.

4. Participation and Liability

  • Assumption of Risk: Surfing and surf skating involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, falls, and collisions with surfboards, skateboards, or other obstacles. By participating in our coaching services, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

  • Liability Waiver: You agree to participate in surf coaching and surf skating at your own risk. Jf_Surftechniques and its coach are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during your session. You are responsible for your own actions during the coaching sessions.

  • Health and Fitness: It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically fit and able to participate in surf coaching and surf skating activities. If you have any health concerns, please consult a physician before participating.

5. Protective Gear

  • Provided Gear: Jf_Surftechniques provides all necessary protective gear for surf skating sessions, including helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards. You agree to wear this protective gear properly at all times during your session.

  • Responsibility: While the protective gear is provided, you are responsible for ensuring that the gear is properly fitted and used. Jf_Surftechniques is not liable for injuries resulting from the failure to properly wear or use the provided gear.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Respect and Safety: All participants must respect the coach, other participants, and the surrounding environment. Unsafe or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the cancellation of your session without a refund.

  • Following Instructions: You must follow the instructions of the coach to ensure your safety and the safety of others during the session.

7. Intellectual Property

  • The content on our website, including images, text, logos, and videos, is protected by copyright. You may not use any of the material for commercial purposes without explicit permission from Jf_Surftechniques.

8. Media Consent

  • By participating in surf coaching or surf skating sessions, you consent to the use of photographs, videos, and other media for marketing and promotional purposes, including on social media and our website. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us before your session.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Your personal information is collected to facilitate bookings and ensure safety during sessions. We will never sell or rent your personal data. For more information on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

10. Amendments to the Terms

  • Jf_Surftechniques reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the effective date will be updated. It is your responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions periodically.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
